The Brewers waltzed into PNC Park last night and put a 5-1 beatdown on the Pirates, and they're not done yet. Milwaukee sends Logan Henderson to the bump tonight, and if you've been paying attention, you know that's a problem for Pittsburgh. Henderson is dealing — 2.34 ERA, 0.78 WHIP — while the Pirates counter with Jared Jones, who's sporting a bloated 4.10 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. That's a 1.76 ERA gap, folks, and in September baseball, that's the kind of mismatch that wins you money.

Sure, the Brewers are on the road for a second straight night, and they've allowed 6.62 runs per game away from home. But they're also riding a 7-3 stretch in their last ten and have been absolutely mashing — 9.8 runs per game over their last five. When your offense is clicking like that and you've got an ace on the mound against a middling starter, you lay the number.

DarkHorse likes the Brewers at -140, and it's hard to argue. The implied 58.3% win probability feels conservative given Henderson's dominance and Milwaukee's recent surge. Pirates fans might hope for a bounce-back, but hope doesn't beat elite pitching. Take the Crew and cash it.
