Milwaukee just edged St. Louis 3-2 last night, and now the Brewers wheel out their best card: Colten Misiorowski, who's been borderline unhittable with a 1.86 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, and over 13 strikeouts per nine. The market knows it too—laying -235 on the moneyline prices Milwaukee near perfection. Problem is, perfection costs a lot when you're running on fumes. The Brewers are playing their sixth game in seven days, coming off a back-to-back, and while they've won nine of ten against the Cardinals this year and are scorching hot offensively (6.13 runs per game over the last 15), fatigue and variance are real.

Andre Pallante isn't an ace, but his 3.61 ERA and 1.24 WHIP make him a credible arm. Last night proved these clubs can play a tight one even when Milwaukee wins. The run line at +1.5 offers value precisely because the market has overshot—DarkHorse pegs the fair probability at just 51.7 percent for a Cardinals cover, yet we're getting plus money. When a competent starter faces an elite pitcher in a divisional grind, one-run games happen more often than the odds suggest. We're riding Cardinals +1.5 (-118) again. Let's make it two in a row.
