The White Sox roll into Fenway on Thursday having just been blanked 4-0 by these same Red Sox, and nothing about yesterday's lifeless performance suggests they're about to flip the script. Boston's bats are clicking, their pitching staff is locking down, and Chicago looks like a club that's already counting down to September—for all the wrong reasons.

DarkHorse nailed the Red Sox at -120 yesterday, and the result was never in doubt. The White Sox managed to make Boston's starter look like a Cy Young candidate while their own offense continued its summer-long disappearing act. Now they've got to turn around less than 24 hours later and somehow manufacture some runs against a Red Sox squad that's found its groove at home.

Chicago's pitching might keep it respectable early, but this lineup has shown zero ability to adjust or respond when facing adversity. Meanwhile, Boston is feeding off the Fenway crowd and building momentum with every inning. The Sox in white are reeling; the Sox in red are rolling. Expect more of the same until Chicago proves otherwise—and they haven't proven much of anything lately. This series could get ugly fast if the visitors don't find some life in a hurry.
