The Orioles limp back into Yankee Stadium two days after getting their doors blown off, 6-3, in a game that wasn't as close as the final score suggests. DarkHorse whiffed on the Baltimore moneyline that night, and frankly, it's hard to blame anyone who's soured on this O's squad down the stretch. September baseball in the Bronx has a way of exposing pretenders, and right now Baltimore looks every bit the part.

The Yankees are rolling with that late-season swagger that makes bettors salivate—home cooking, momentum, and a lineup that's been teeing off when it matters. The Orioles, meanwhile, are playing out the string with all the urgency of a team already planning October tee times. Two days ago they couldn't manufacture runs when they needed them, and nothing about their body language suggested they're ready to flip the script.

DarkHorse hasn't weighed in on this one yet, which might be the smartest play of all. Sometimes the sharpest angle is staying in the stable. If you're hunting value, you're probably looking at run lines or totals, because laying juice on New York feels about as exciting as it is obvious. The O's need to show us something—anything—before we go back to that well.
