Twins Look to Bounce Back After Dropping Heartbreaker to Halos in Extras

The Twins rolled into Anaheim yesterday and came up just short in a 6-5 barn-burner that went the distance. Credit where it's due—DarkHorse nailed the Angels at -110, and the Halos delivered in walk-off fashion. Now Minnesota has to dust itself off and try again in the middle game of this weekend set.

Here's the thing: losing a one-run game on the road stings, but the Twins showed they can hang with this Angels lineup. The question is whether their bullpen can lock it down after nearly coughing up another late lead. Minnesota's been inconsistent in tight spots all month, and that's a problem when you're fighting for postseason positioning this late in September.

The Angels, meanwhile, have life. Winning close games at home is their bread and butter, and the confidence from last night's comeback should carry over. They're not world-beaters, but they're scrappy and dangerous in their own yard.

DarkHorse hasn't weighed in on tonight's matchup yet, so we're flying blind on the official pick. But if you're asking me? I'd lean toward the team that just proved it can win the tight ones. The Twins need to show me they've got the guts to respond, and I'm not convinced until they do.
