Braves Swat Astros 6-3 in Houston, Offense Does the Heavy Lifting

The Braves rolled into Minute Maid Park and punched Houston right in the mouth, walking away with a 6-3 victory that was more comfortable than the final score suggests. Atlanta's bats came alive early and never really let the Astros back into it, staking their pitchers to a lead they could work with all night long.

Houston's offense, usually a buzzsaw at home, sputtered when it mattered most. Three runs against a Braves staff that's been inconsistent this season? That's leaving runs on the table, plain and simple. The Astros managed to scratch across just enough to keep it from being a total embarrassment, but this was Atlanta's game from the middle innings onward.
