Brewers Edge Past Orioles 6-5 as DarkHorse Cashes the Favorite

MLB

The Brewers squeezed out a 6-5 victory in Baltimore, and DarkHorse's -155 pick on Milwaukee delivered another winner for The Stable. This one wasn't pretty, but it didn't need to be—a win's a win, and the money spends the same.

Dustin May wasn't exactly dealing, but he did enough to keep Milwaukee ahead while the offense took care of business. The Brewers' bats came through when it mattered, capitalizing on Baltimore's injury-depleted lineup and shaky pitching depth. Cade Povich couldn't contain Milwaukee's attack, and the Orioles' 4.14 team ERA showed up right on schedule. Baltimore scratched across five runs, but without Jackson Holliday, Tyler O'Neill, and Luis Robert Jr. in the lineup, they simply lacked the firepower to complete the comeback.

This result validates everything we hammered home in the original analysis: Milwaukee's superior team metrics (3.58 ERA, .259 BA) and recent hot streak (10-5 in their last 15) were always going to be too much for an undermanned Orioles squad. The Brewers are rolling, Baltimore is limping, and we rode the right side all the way to the window. That's three straight cashes for the baseball desk. Keep following the numbers, keep cashing tickets.
