Brewers Squeeze Past Orioles in Pitchers' Duel, Cash the Ticket at -135

MLB

The Brewers gutted out a 1-0 nail-biter in Baltimore, and DarkHorse backers who laid the -135 juice are sleeping well tonight. This was exactly the kind of low-scoring grind we anticipated when we highlighted Milwaukee's pitching superiority—and it delivered in spades.

Robert Gasser didn't blow anyone away, but he didn't have to. He kept Baltimore's punchless lineup off-balance all night, leaning on that staff ERA edge we hammered in the preview. The Orioles' depleted roster—still missing Holliday, Robert Jr., and O'Neill—managed exactly zero runs, proving once again that injuries matter more than hope. Trevor Rogers matched zeroes for a while, but one mistake was all Milwaukee needed. The Brewers manufactured a single run and rode their bullpen home like they've done all season.

This wasn't pretty, but it was profitable. We called the pitching mismatch at the organizational level, not just the starter matchup, and Milwaukee's 3.59 staff ERA vs. Baltimore's 4.15 told the whole story. The Orioles had no answers offensively, and that 8-2 run in the Brewers' last ten games? Still rolling. Sometimes the best bets are the boring ones. Chalk up another winner.
