Grizzlies Cash Plus-Money in Salt Lake City as Jerome Keeps Rolling
The Grizzlies did exactly what we said they would, grinding out a 110-105 road win over the Jazz to move to 4-0 and cash our +100 moneyline ticket. Memphis never trailed in the fourth quarter, leaning on the same offensive firepower that torched Utah by 20 just five days earlier. Ty Jerome didn't quite replicate his absurd 36.5 PPG average through three games, but he provided enough punch to keep the Jazz at arm's length when it mattered.
Utah hung around all night—credit where it's due—but their defensive issues remain glaring. Allowing 110 points to a Grizzlies squad playing on zero rest tells you everything about why they're 1-3. The back-to-back neutralized itself just as projected, but Memphis' superior efficiency and momentum proved decisive. This wasn't pretty, but winners don't have to be. The market gave us a coin-flip price on a team that's clearly a tier above right now, and we took full advantage.
Sometimes the simplest read is the right one: hot team gets plus-money against cold opponent they just demolished. We'll take that edge every time. On to 4-0.
