Oilers Torch Winless Kings 4-1, DarkHorse Rides the Streak

The Oilers made it five straight and improved to 4-0 on the road with a convincing 4-1 dismantling of the still-winless Kings in Los Angeles. Edmonton's offensive engine kept humming, and DarkHorse's Oilers ML pick cashed comfortably at -125.

This one unfolded exactly as forecasted. The Kings entered 0-4, hemorrhaging goals and searching for answers in net. Darcy Kuemper's early-season nightmare continued, and Edmonton's firepower proved too much for a LA squad that still hasn't figured out how to win a hockey game. The Oilers controlled pace, capitalized on chances, and never let the Kings sniff a comeback after building separation.

DarkHorse nailed the thesis: back the hot hand with offensive juice against a cold, leaky opponent. Edmonton's 5-0 start on the road isn't a fluke—it's a statement. Meanwhile, the Kings sit at 0-5, their goaltending remains a disaster, and the gap between these two clubs was glaring from puck drop.

The pick hit because we trusted momentum over market hesitation. When one team is rolling and the other is reeling, you don't overthink it. The Oilers delivered, the Kings folded, and The Stable walks away with another winner. Ride the wave until it breaks.
