Orioles Bats Explode in Arlington, Rangers Never Had a Chance

MLB

So much for home-field advantage. The Orioles stormed into Globe Life Field and torched the Rangers 10-5, turning our Rangers -130 pick into expensive kindling. Baltimore's bats woke up at precisely the wrong time for anyone backing Texas, obliterating the narrative about their anemic 3.83 road runs per game. They hung a 10-spot on a Rangers squad that supposedly owned a 7-2 home record and all the momentum.

Cade Povich wasn't spectacular, but he didn't need to be—Baltimore's offense did the heavy lifting while Kumar Rocker and the Texas bullpen got shelled. The Orioles snapped their three-game skid in emphatic fashion, making the Rangers' home dominance look like a mirage. Texas managed five runs, which would've been respectable in most contexts, but they were buried early and never mounted a serious comeback.

The 0.17 ERA gap between starters proved meaningless when one lineup decided to channel October and the other sleepwalked through nine innings. Sometimes the numbers lie, and road struggles are just a slump waiting to end. Baltimore picked the perfect night to remember how to hit, and we're left holding a losing ticket. Chalk it up: Orioles 10, Rangers 5, and our confidence in Texas home cooking just took a beating.
