Game Recap
Packers Ground Cowboys as Offenses Sputter in Frozen Lambeau Dud
The Packers took care of business 23-13 at Lambeau, but this one played like January football nobody asked for in December. Green Bay's defense clamped down when it mattered, and Dallas looked every bit like a team that wasted those 10 days of rest drawing up... whatever that offensive game plan was supposed to be.
Our published over 53.5 crashed harder than Dak's third-down completion rate. We called for 48-55 combined points based on season averages that suggested firepower on both sides. Instead, we got 36 total points and a masterclass in offensive ineptitude. Dallas managed just 13 points against a Green Bay defense we projected would allow over 20, while the Packers themselves fell well short of their 20.8 PPG average despite facing a Cowboys unit bleeding 27.2 per game all season.
The sharp money that pushed this total from 52.5 to 53.5? They got smoked right alongside us. Turns out those "established QB play" and "primary weapons active" talking points don't mean much when both offenses decide to sleepwalk through December. CeeDee Lamb and company were invisible, and Jordan Love did just enough to avoid losing.
Cold weather, tighter defense, or just bad execution—pick your poison. Either way, the over never had a pulse.
