Ravens Torch Colts 41-23 as DarkHorse's Under Gets Buried

NFL

So much for Week 1 rust and quarterback uncertainty. The Ravens rolled into Lucas Oil Stadium and hung 41 points on Indianapolis in a statement win that made our under 47.5 look foolish from the opening drive. Final score: Ravens 41, Colts 23—a combined 64 points that sailed over the total by more than two touchdowns.

Joe Fagnano's first regular-season start? Apparently no problem. Baltimore's run-heavy identity was supposed to keep the clock moving and the scoreboard quiet, but the Ravens found every gear in their arsenal, exploiting a Colts defense that looked nothing like last year's sub-24 PPG unit. Whether Fagnano aired it out or the ground game gashed Indianapolis, Baltimore's offense clicked with zero hesitation.

Daniel Jones and the Colts managed 23 points—respectable enough to stay within shouting distance early—but couldn't keep pace once the floodgates opened. The supposed defensive stalemate never materialized. Both offenses shook off any rust by halftime, and this one turned into a track meet.

DarkHorse's under call missed badly. The logic was sound: new quarterbacks, run-first schemes, stingy defenses. Reality? Baltimore's offense is far more dangerous than those 2025 averages suggested, and the Colts couldn't slow them down. Chalk it up as a loss and move on—Week 1 always delivers surprises.
