Red Sox Blank Orioles 5-0 Behind Dominant Gray, Cash Easy Money at +150

MLB

Sometimes the script writes itself, and last night in Baltimore was one of those nights. Sonny Gray carved up the Orioles like they owed him money, shutting them out completely while the Red Sox offense did just enough against Chris Bassitt to make our +150 moneyline ticket a laugher by the fifth inning.

We called this one straight down the middle: Gray's 2.82 ERA against Bassitt's bloated 4.97 was always going to be the story, and it played out exactly as advertised. Gray was surgical, the Orioles lineup looked lost, and Bassitt gave up runs in bunches like he's been doing all season. Boston plated five, Baltimore plated zero, and we're cashing tickets before the West Coast games even started.

The 2.15 ERA gap between starters wasn't just a number on paper—it was the entire ballgame. When you get plus-money on a legitimate ace facing a batting-practice pitcher, you hammer it and ask questions later. The Orioles' home splits promised better run prevention, but you can't prevent what you can't hit, and Gray made sure they did neither.

Red Sox improve to 5-3 in the season series. We improve to another winning day. Chalk up the HIT and sleep easy knowing we had the right side from jump street.
