Rockies Get Steamrolled in Milwaukee as Brewers Cruise to Lopsided Victory

MLB

The Brewers turned American Family Field into a launching pad Tuesday night, dismantling the Rockies 11-2 in a game that was essentially over by the fifth inning. Milwaukee's offense clicked on all cylinders while Colorado's pitching staff got absolutely shelled, continuing what's becoming an all-too-familiar road trip nightmare for the visitors.

This wasn't competitive baseball—it was batting practice with consequences. The Brewers piled on runs early and often, turning what should've been a competitive NL matchup into a laugher. Colorado managed just two runs, which frankly feels generous considering how thoroughly outclassed they looked at the plate. When you're getting boat-raced by nine runs, there's no silver lining to extract from the box score.

The Rockies' pitching staff couldn't locate the strike zone with a GPS, and Milwaukee made them pay for every mistake. Meanwhile, Colorado's bats went ice cold in the worst possible environment—a hitter-friendly park where they should've been able to manufacture some offense.

DarkHorse didn't publish a pick for this one, which in hindsight looks like a smart dodge. This game had "stay away" written all over it, and the final score proved exactly why some matchups are better left alone.
